Made-to-Order vs. Custom Jewelry
Made-to-order means we produce a design from our existing collection after you place your order. Our standard catalog jewelry is made to order and typically ships within 5–7 business days. Choosing available options shown on the product page, such as metal color, standard ring size, or diamond type, does not by itself make an item custom.
Custom jewelry means a piece designed or specially modified to your individual specifications outside the standard options offered in our catalog. Custom orders have individually discussed timelines and are final sale.
*Standard made-to-order pieces are eligible for the returns below unless another exclusion applies—for example, lab-grown diamond jewelry or engraved jewelry.
How Returns Work
Contact us at info@ogfinejewelry.com with your order number. For eligible items, requests made within 14 days of delivery qualify for a refund; requests made on days 15–30 qualify for store credit.
Keep the item unworn, undamaged, and in its original condition. Include the original packaging and any certificates supplied with your order.
Follow the return authorization and shipping instructions we provide. An insured, prepaid label may be available for eligible U.S. returns. International returns must be fully insured.
Once your return is received and approved after inspection, we issue the eligible refund to the original payment method or store credit as a gift card. Please allow approximately 7–14 business days for processing.
Eligible for Return
- Standard catalog jewelry, including made-to-order rings, earrings, pendants, necklaces, and bracelets
- Pieces purchased with standard product-page options, such as metal color and standard size
- Eligible jewelry with natural diamonds or natural colored gemstones
- Eligible loose natural diamonds and gemstones, with any original certificates supplied
All eligible returns must meet the condition and time-window requirements above.
Not Returnable
- Lab-grown diamond jewelry
- Custom-designed or specially modified pieces created outside the standard catalog options
- Engraved jewelry
- Final-sale items
- Items worn, damaged, resized, or altered after delivery
- Items missing required original packaging or certificates (unless a certificate replacement is approved)
Fees & Important Notes
- Missing certificate replacement, when available: $250 per certificate.
- Orders over $10,000 are subject to a 3% restocking fee on eligible returns.
- Claims for damaged or missing items must be reported within 5 days of delivery.
- All return requests must be authorized through info@ogfinejewelry.com before shipping an item back.
Order Changes & Cancellations
If you need to change or cancel an order, contact us as soon as possible. Changes and cancellations may be possible before shipping confirmation, but custom and specially commissioned orders cannot be canceled or changed once accepted.
We reserve the right to cancel or modify any order prior to shipment in the event of pricing errors, technical issues, product availability, or suspected fraudulent activity. If this occurs, we will notify you and issue a full refund for any canceled items.
